If you work in the safety at height industry and will be near Düsseldorf, you definitely shouldn't miss out on this opportunity! ✨
Stairwell openings in shopping malls, airports, or train stations are frequently shielded by glass or screens. Glass serves the purpose of preserving visibility through the stairwell, and screens are utilized for various purposes, including advertising, disseminating vital information to visitors and travelers, conveying warnings, and updating news. Consequently, it is imperative to clean and maintain these areas due to their high traffic and exposure to dirt. Performing the cleaning and maintenance using suspension rails, such as SecuRail Pro or SafeAccess, is efficient, safe, and aesthetics. These aluminum rails are thoughtfully designed to seamlessly blend in with the modern architectural surroundings, ensuring they remain unnoticeable.
When it comes to those massive screens and walls at iconic spots like Sea World Abu Dhabi, you have to bring in the big guns: innovation and safety. That's where Fallprotec's dynamic duo shines – the SafeAccess suspension rail teams up with the RopeClimber hoist. And guess what? You don't need to be a vertical pro to use it!
With fundamental height training, screen technicians can confidently operate the hoist for efficient and secure access. The motorized trolleys on the SafeAccess rail further empower horizontal movement, seamlessly spanning the vast screen encircling the Duomo.
Thanks @emirates international facility management to let us share this iconic project.
Accessing on-top installed fall arrest lifelines on gabled/sloping roofs can pose significant risks, especially when the surface is wet and lacks roof walkways, making it even more hazardous. To ensure the safety of workers in such challenging conditions, the implementation of a securope inclined cable lifeline becomes crucial. The fall arrest ZIP! glider, which not only follows the user's movement but also includes overspeed blocking functionality, preventing falls within the first centimeters. We can drastically reduce the risk of accidents and ensure our workers remain protected at all times.
Thanks Avrasya Safety Kurumsal Çözümler A.Ş for sharing this reference. Your commitment to safety and industrial solutions in the Turkish market is truly commendable!

Stay safe while walking 25m above the ground with our Securope overhead lifeline! At the Sportpaleis Antwerp, operators can securely install stage setups and maintain light systems using our extensive network of 1000m cable lifelines attached to the structure’s beams. Our bespoke brackets enable efficient installation without the need for perforation.
Double skin facades are becoming a popular trend, therefore their maintenance. Many of these facades feature fixed or electrically movable sunshades on each floor, which require regular cleaning and upkeep, just like the windows of the building. To ensure the safety of workers walking on walkways between the two facades, where collective protection is absent, Fallprotec S.A recommends two types of fall arrest systems: a rigid SecuRailPro or a cable SecuRope, both overhead lifelines. In combination with a fall arrest block (SRL), they effectively reduce the fall distance. Their gliders/trolleys slide smoothly thanks to the high-quality bearings.
However, the rigid rail system offers an additional advantage by further reducing the fall distance. This feature is critical, particularly in areas with low fall clearance, such as the first floor of these buildings. Moreover, compared to the cable system, the rigid rail overhead lifeline transmits less force to the host structure in the event of a fall. Additionally, it usually harmonizes with the aesthetic of the building, ensuring seamless integration.

Last Saturday was an absolutely exhilarating day as SolarCleano and Fallprotec S.A joined forces to conquer the annual semi-marathon for the incredible organization Backtosport.lu!
We ran with all our might, fuelled by passion and determination, in support of promoting sports and physical activities for everyone. It was an awe-inspiring event that brought together like-minded individuals committed to making a difference. Together, we celebrated the joy of sports and the power it holds to transform lives.
Last month, we had the opportunity to visit the renovation of the train station in Mons (Belgium), led by the renowned Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava LLC. The new multimodal station, with an innovative and futuristic design, features approximately 2.000m2 of curved and flat glass that requires regular cleaning and maintenance.
For this reason, the station has been equipped with 3.000m of fall protection and rope access rail systems SecurailPro supplied by Fallprotec SL. to ensure the safety of workers performing maintenance and cleaning tasks. The rail has been painted in white to blend with the aesthetics of Calatrava's characteristic minimalist design. It is a must-visit if you're in Mons.
Maintaining aircrafts involves working at substantial heights and in proximity to moving parts, making it a challenging and dangerous task for workers.
However, with Fallprotec's advanced fall arresting equipment, such as the Securail Pro and SafeAccess systems, workers can perform their duties with greater safety and confidence. These systems are specifically designed to prevent falls on work sites with low fall clearance, and in combination with retractable fall arresters known as SRLs, provide workers with the highest level of protection. The SRLs quickly and efficiently catch the user in the event of a fall, ensuring that they do not come into contact with any objects and are kept safe from harm. Made from lightweight aluminum, they undergo low deformation and can be affixed to any point, even those that are significantly high above the user.
The trolleys effortlessly follow the user's movements, smoothly gliding on rollers along the track.
In order to guarantee the safety of workers who need to access wells, it is important to have a solution that can withstand the muddy and wet environment while being durable and reliable against rust and corrosion.
The Safeladder is an ideal solution for these conditions due to its high-quality and long-lasting materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and zinc-coated hinges. Its surface and rungs are designed to prevent slipping and provide a superior grip, thus reducing the risk of falls. The ladder's safe design makes it perfect for accessing confined spaces.
Additionally, Safeladder features a foldable part that rises 110 cm (43 inches) to provide secure access, blocking the entrance when not in use. It is easy to install and can be customized to fit various well sizes and configurations.
Fallprotec S.A Davit arms are a popular choice for suspended access to clean facades due to their flexibility, safety, ease of use, cost-effectiveness, and aesthetic benefits. They are designed to meet strict safety standards (EN795 & BS8610) and can be used to support various types of suspended access equipment such as rope access specialists or by a worker sitting on a chair or cradle fitted with a Ropeclimber hoist. They are relatively simple to operate and can be easily adjusted to suit the specific needs of the job. Additionally, they are an aesthetic solution as the arm can be removed when not in use, and the base can be covered and hidden, maintaining the aesthetics of the building.
Silos are designed to store food in optimal conditions, maintaining temperature and humidity levels to ensure that the stored grains remain fresh for extended periods. However, in order to preserve the quality of the stored food and prevent contamination, silos must be regularly maintained. Typically, access to silos is restricted, with narrow entry dimensions and only accessible from the top.
Fallprotec offers a safe and convenient solution to access these confined spaces by combining a tripod anchorage structure with the RopeClimber hoist. This system enables workers to be lifted up and down with the push of a button, making it the easiest and safest option available.
Working on top of trucks poses a high risk of falling from heights. However, setting up ground-based safety systems may not always be feasible, particularly in situations like unloading on a construction site where the site's structure or maneuverability makes it challenging to install safety equipment.
To address the risk of falls from truck tops, Fallprotec S.A installed a secured walkway on top of the truck, utilizing the compact Securail Pro rail. The walkway allows operators to safely access the valves while incorporating a retractable fall arrester to prevent falls within the first few centimeters. The addition of a guardrail ensures easy and secure movement on the truck.
This solution enables customers to transport goods in tankers, including cement, milk, cereals, liquids, powders, oil, gas, and plastics, while having a safety system with them at all times, ensuring their safety and the integrity of their machine.
Consider the traversing davit arms for building maintenance. These arms are permanently installed on the roof and can effortlessly move along a monorail, which can be installed on the ground or the parapet.
Compared to anchor points and fixed or temporary davits, traversing davits offer a faster and more efficient way to work on the facade. The user remains connected to the same device throughout the maintenance job, enhancing safety and productivity.
Glass roofs/ceilings require regular cleaning from both inside and outside. A dirty glass roof can limit visibility, compromise comfort and safety, and diminish the aesthetics of the building. Additionally, regular cleaning helps identify maintenance issues, such as leaks or cracks, that can lead to costly repairs if left unaddressed.
Fallprotec S.A provides reliable solutions for this maintenance: guardrails, lifelines and anchor points. The Securope cable lifeline fits easily between panels, can be fastened on any roof, and can be used simultaneously by up to 4 people, making the maintenance quicker for a faster return to the panels’ full efficiency.
When it comes to solar panels ☀️ it unfolds in 3 steps:
1️⃣ Maintenance of the electrical connections and fixings.
2️⃣ Running an electroluminescent test for potential hotspots.
3️⃣ Cleaning of the panels themselves.
Working at height cannot be avoided in the first task, so safety is critical, but the last two tasks can NOW be performed without even setting foot on the roof with the SolarCleano robot, which can be safely piloted from the ground cleaning and testing panels efficiently.
What are some of the risks when working on top of a vehicle?
1. Falling
2. Hitting the side of the machine in the process, if the safety system lets you fall for too long.
At Fallprotec, we tackle the problem at its root: the fall distance. Our SafeAccess monorail does not deflect in case of a fall. For optimal safety, we combined it with retractable fall arresters: they glide perfectly along the rail accompanying the user, but will retain a fall within the first centimeters.
And it works! Over 100 sites worldwide chose this system to secure their workers on top of trucks, machinery, trains, or even aircraft.
We had the pleasure of receiving the visit of Luxembourgish Prime Minister Xavier Bettel in our premises.
The PM met our team and had a quick chat with each employee (most times in their mother tongue, no small task considering our 17 nationalities!).
This visit was an opportunity to reflect on 19 years of fall protection solutions at Fallprotec. We discussed current developments inside the company in terms of products and of projects, as well as our vision for the future and synergies that could arise.
We are very thankful to the PM and his team for the interest shown in our activity and his support to Fallprotec.
Church roofs require proper maintenance to ensure the longevity of the building, especially those old ones with fragile or unstable tiles that need regular inspections and repairs to prevent costly future damages to the structural integrity. To guarantee the safety of maintenance workers, Fallprotec provides the rail lifeline SecuRail that allows users to perform their work more efficiently and effectively while moving freely along the sloped roof, which makes it less restrictive than other types of fall protection systems, such as anchor points. Since it is a rigid system, it doesn't deflect under the constant pulling on these sloped roofs. The cathedral of Clermont Ferrand, known as the Black Church has been equipped with this system.
Architecture has pushed the boundaries for centuries!
The walls and ceiling of this particular atrium look like a dreamland.
A huge T.V. is suspended on the ceiling and the wall reflects the image endlessly.

We were at height with our partner Leon Kremer to install anchor points and cable lifelines ! To secure workers, overhead SecuRope cable lifelines and anchor points clamped on steel beams were installed on supports fixed by a plate & counter-plate.
The bullwheel access has also been secured with a SecuRope cable lifeline between high posts to reduce the fall factor, plus a Vertical lifeline SecuRope QuickSet to access the oversized pulleys.
Consequently, visitors could continue to visit this wonderful castle of Vianden by chairlift.
The bridge of Luxembourg Central Train Station has been renovated and an aesthetic safety solution for its future maintenance was required. A 120m of SecuRail horizontal rail lifeline copies the bridge design that involves metal arches made of special steel. The solution works either for fall arrest, in order to maintain the roof, and rope access to clean the lateral windows.
The project has been a complete success thanks to the strong collaboration between Fallprotec S.A's technical team, the architects, engineers, and manufacturers.
Weight and space are critical points for suspended access equipment SAE, especially when cleaning internal facades and skylights. The versatility and lightness of the RopeClimber autonomous hoist allow the design of genuinely bespoke solutions.
1) a 3.20m cradle with the ease of disassembling it (two cradles in one) and storing it in the typically reduced spaces for cleaning material, 2) a standard cradle for two users, and 3) a monocradle with an additional baby box that allows the user to approach the facade without the need to counterbalance.
All of them are removable and without the pressure of not damaging the building, thanks to using removable textile ropes.

The Hofburg, in Vienna, is the former residence of the Habsburg dynasty, and since 1946 the residence of the president of the Austrian federation.
In order to enable safe working on the Hofburg roofs, we equipped the entire roof with anchoring devices.
The roof consists of copper standing seam. For this reason, the cable safety devices were mounted with special copper clamps, so that no galvanic corrosion occurs. Added to this were the many different spans (60-90cm) between the standing seams, which required custom-made brackets to adapt to all spans.
The centre of the building was made of sandstone. We decided to install the Securail Pro rail security system. Tensile tests were first carried out in accordance with EN795 to ensure that the structure could withstand the forces acting on it. After successful tests, we had brackets manufactured to allow the rail to be aligned correctly.
A total of around 800m of Securope cable lifelines, 100 individual anchor points and 180m of Securail Pro rails were installed to secure the entire roof surface and all roof hatches.
This summer, Fallprotec fitted out Mastladders to the four 50 m high pylons at the Georges Suant football stadium, in the outskirts of Paris. The site consisted of replacing a used suspended basket with our Mastladder. This operation required an on-site measurement to ensure that no interference penalized the installation, especially at the level of the upper floor. Drilling or welding could not be used to fix the ladder to the pylon. As a means of attachment, strapping was preferred. In fact, this process does not alter the corrosion resistance of the pylone.
Fallprotec was also present during the installation and commissioning of the ladders. The client expressed great satisfaction. In fact, at all stages of the project, he was able to rely on the expertise of Fallprotec, which led the project from start to finish.

Fallprotec has installed with its local partner Roofac a platform in a Stockholm shopping center for the interior cleaning of an atrium consisting of glass ceiling and glass walls.
The platform moves in the horizontal plane thanks to 2 pairs of Safeaccess rails. One pair, 12 m long, is attached to the structure of the building, the second pair, 4 m long, is suspended to the first thanks to 4 trolleys. This configuration provides access to the entire surface of the glass ceiling.
The architect wanted the platform to be dismantlable in order to respect the architectural quality of the atrium. The platform is lifted from the ground to the rails and attached to the four trolleys by pins.
When the platform is disassembled, the trolleys are used to suspend Ropeclimber Backpack and thus allow the cleaning of the vertical surfaces of the atrium.
For this project, 4 rolling beam systems were delivered for the 4 atriums of the shopping center.
